This Week at MOM’s: Freezer Meals

In the midst of a deep freeze, what better way to take advantage than make up some freezer meals.

This week we will meet in the basement for the usual coffee and snack, then head upstairs to do some chopping and assembling.

Heidi has been pinning up a storm and has some great ideas here

It’s suggested $5 per tasty meal. The planned meals are as follows:

  • Chicken Teriyaki
  • Lentil Butternut Squash Curry, and
  • Black Bean Chili

What’s also great is these meals can be made in a pot on the stove if you don’t have a slow cooker.

Other things that maybe be useful to bring:

  • Apron
  • Favourite knife
  • Can opener
  • Onion-cutting goggles
