This Week: Wind Up Potluck

Yep! I’m not lying, the title is correct. MOM’s is wrapping up for another season.

So come down for one last huzzah, bring a tasty snack if possible, and whoever was on bevies I hope you remember, because I don’t.

Also let’s come together and wish a warm fare-the-well to Elizabeth as she and her family move back to Kenya, and all the other Mom’s unable to return in the fall.

This Week at MOM’s: Crafting with Sarah

This week our guest star will be Sarah as she creates a wonderful craft.

You will need:

  • Cereal boxes
  • Sewing scissors
  • White school glue

Also this will be our last regular session, with the WIND UP POTLUCK next week. It’s going to be a free-for-all style so if pans of cinnamon buns show up or everyone brings fancy cheese it will be great. Maybe just second guess that veggie tray 😛

The next important date is the CAREGIVER TEA: Thursday, April 9th 7:00 pm. This is a child-free event so unless your little one is attached to your boob, leave the kids with Dad. There will be cheesecake so all the more incentive to come.

Also if you want to be kept up to date on summer mom’s find us on Facebook or subscribe to the blog or email to be added to the email list if you haven’t been getting the weekly newsletter.

This week: Part 2

Last week we had the lovely Gabrielle, Sarah and Desiree tell their stories of who they are before parenthood, and this week Ruth will tell hers.

We’re still working out some details, but we might have more stories, we might have an intellectual question. Come surprised.

Also don’t through out those cereal boxes. We’re going to need them for Crafting with Sarah.
