FREE things to do with your kids

FREE this weekend in the Spirit of Earth Day, Fort Whyte Alive is hosting a number of events geared towards kids such as crafts, bannock bake, and bugs! There is also Free Transportation to and from Fort Whyte from different locations around Winnipeg. If this interests you, you can check out their website.

Are you going through MOM’s withdrawal yet? We might have a solution until spring decides to show its presence. I am pasting an email message I received for Kids@Play.

Hey!  Bethel Mennonite Church and Families Forward are partnering  together to create a new program (Kids@Play) for pre-schoolers and their caregivers starting this Monday at Bethel Mennonite Church.  The  program runs from 10 am to 11:30 am and will take place in the Dining  Hall.  The first part will include stations where kids can play with  caregiver supervision, then there is a short circle time and snack.  The program is FREE.

Could you pass this along to your MOMS group?  They are all invited to  attend and they are welcome to bring others too!  If you have questions  feel free to e-mail me.

I have also attached the  Kids@Play 3 Sites Final brochure of the other 2 locations if Monday’s at Bethel doesn’t work for you.
PS Check back  once the weather  is nicer for information on SUMMER MOM’s

Thank you

Hi Everyone,

I wasn’t here this morning and didn’t see this message until now so I thought I would pass it on.

Lori says “Thank-you to everyone for all of their thoughts and prayers, it means a lot to me and my family and we are very grateful. I hope to see everyone at the caregivers thank-you party but if I don’t I hope everyone has a wonderful summer and we’ll see you next year!”
